Tents- better safe than sorry*

Are you thinking about having your wedding reception in a garden? It will surely look beautiful but... What will you do with the guests if it starts to rain or if the sun is unbearable?Quoting the saying “better safe than sorry”, if you want for everyone to remember your wedding because of the good things and not problems that were encountered, you must rent one or several carps. It is not worth it to trust the weather, which can betray you at the last minute.

There are many shapes and sizes . From 15 to 170 feet Wide; squared, rectangular, or even octagonal; with cone-shaped covers, or triangular ceilings. You will surely find the most appropriate one.

Advice

  • 1 White is usually the color used for weddings but you can add different colored fabrics inside to match the floral decor, it looks wonderful. Another option is to hang lamps from the ceiling, if the carp’s quality is good this will not be a problem.
2 You must look at every detail before renting a tent especially if the location is suitable for placing them. There are some terrains that are very inclined and force you to choose a specific type of carp, which might set you back in terms of pricing. This is why it is best if you ask an expert to visit the site before renting the service.
3 When it comes to calculating the size, we recommend to use an approximate of three to five square feet per person. This is the amount of room you need for people to move freely and not leave too much space. This size may also vary in function of the tables, depending on whether they are for eight or ten people.
4 Carps are quick and easy to set up and disassemble (don’t worry, usually the company you hire will take care of this). The material they are made of is light and resistant, similar to the ones used in fairs.
5The garden will look nicer if several carps are placed consecutively in a large space (it will look like a room) as opposed to having one huge carp. At the end of the day, what matters is that the reception took place in the outdoors setting. If you place many small ones, it gives a sensation of movement and will allow guests to follow and enjoy the different areas of the site.
6 Before renting make sure the carp is in good condition. We have received complaints from couples that had only been guided by vendor pictures where the carps looked perfect and once they were set up, they turned out to be scratched, dirty, or of a different color.
7 Lastly, remember that a carp not only protects you from the rain. It does the same from the sun, heat, or cold.
